H. G. Blake Elementary School (330-636-3900) (link) is located at 4704 Lexington Ridge Drive in Medina, Montville Township, Ohio. Nestled in the Lexington Ridge residential home development, Blake Elementary was built in 2005 and serves grades K through 5. Blake Elementary prides itself in following the example of H.G. Ralph E. Waite Elementary School (330-636-4500) (link) is located at 4765 Cobblestone Park Drive in Medina, Montville Township, Ohio. Nestled in the Cobblestone Park residential home development, Waite Elementary was built in 2010 and serves grades K through 5. Waite Elementary is next to Cobblestone Park where school children and neighboring families enjoy baseball, lacrosse, scenic trails and pavilions. (website)
A.I. Root Middle School (330-636-3500) is located at 333 W. Sturbridge Drive in Medina, Ohio. Situated in a residential community in the City of Medina, this school was built in 1995, houses grades 6 – 8, and received a GreatSchools Rating of9 out of 10. (website)
Claggett Middle School(330-636-3600) is located at 420 E. Union Street in Medina, Ohio. Situated in a residential community in the City of Medina, this school houses grades 6 – 8 and received a GreatSchools Rating of 8 out of 10. (website)
Medina High School (330-636-3200) is located at 777 E. Union Street in Medina, Ohio and houses grades 9- 12. The high school was built in 1973 and then vastly updated and expanded in 2003. The school has an extensive performing arts program with multiple choirs, orchestras and a marching band that has won honors and awards at state and local competitions. The Medina High School symphony orchestra was recently invited to Russia to perform at the Grand Philharmonic Hall in Saint Petersburg.
