Medina County continues to implement the County Mass Notification System provided by Everbridge, which is one of the leading emergency notification system providers. Montville Township is a participant in the Medina County Everbridge Mass Notification System for Citizen Alerts. The system is able to notify the residents of Montville Township about fires, flooding, hazardous material spills, lost persons or Amber Alerts, utility outages and so on.
Messages can be sent to residents on any communication path desired – cell phone, home phone, email, text messaging, fax, pager, PDA and more – ensuring that residents and County staff receive life-saving emergency information and important public service announcements in minutes.
Citizens and businesses listed in the County’s white pages directory that have land-line phones have been automatically subscribed to alerts by phone. Citizens and businesses may self-register, provide additional contact information or opt out.
This system is free to use and you may change your preferences as often as you like. The system will accept your username in all lowercase letters and your current password, however, the first time you log in you will be prompted to change your password.
