Township Tree Lawn Resolution 

The Board of Trustees of Montville Township has adopted the a tree lawn planting resolution for trees within the road right of way of Montville Township. List of trees permitted is on the Service FAQ page.


Community Room Rental Form

The Montville Township Administration and Safety Center offers a “Community Room” that is available to our residents.  The facility can accommodate up to 48 people and has wireless internet for any meeting needs.  In addition, there is a dry erase board to help with any presentation.


Badger Lodge Rental Form

Badger Lodge offers an enclosed room with indoor restrooms surrounded by the picturesque Austin Badger Park. This picturesque park was originally farmland and woods until the 1970’s when it was purchased by several Cleveland businessmen who used it as a private hunting and fishing club.  In 1992, the Hoffman Limited Company bought it for three phases of the Montville Lake subdivision.  Phase three of that development included the Blue Heron Golf Course where that business operated for about six years.  The golf course was designed around the ravines and woods. The 252-acre Blue Heron Park parcel will be divided into three separate parks.  The first park, Austin Badger Fitness Park, was opened September 2016 and was named in memory of one of Montville Township’s first settlers.  Aaron Smith has opened with a Field Station that is available for educational purposes and group gatherings. Thomas Currier is still not opened to the public.


Cobblestone Park Pavilion Rental Form

Cobblestone Park is located in the Cobblestone Subdivision having an entrance off of Cobblestone Park Drive that is shared by Ralph E. Waite Elementary School. The parks contains approximately 39 acres of recreational land that includes four baseball diamonds and two lacrosse fields. Along with the baseball diamonds and lacrosse fields, the park offers three pavilions with grills for outdoor entertaining, full-service restrooms, and paved/stoned walking trail that intermingles throughout the park. The pavilions are available to rent for private parties by contacting the Planning and Zoning Office at 330-725-8313.


Whitetail Park Pavilion Rental Form

White Tail Park is the township’s first owned and operated park built within the White Tail Crossing Subdivision off of Poe Road. Established in 2006, the park offers two soccer fields, two basketball courts, concession stand, full service restrooms, pavilion, playground, and over one mile of paved/stoned walking trails. The pavilion offers a large charcoal grill and is able to support the occupancy of 80-90 people. Included within the pavilion are several electrical outlets and a drinking fountain with a water spigot for convenience.

The park also offers 5 pickleball courts. These are available to the public as a first come first serve basis with the court rules and regulations applied. To rent up to two courts, the pavilion must be rented with said courts. The renting of any courts must be approved through the Planning and Zoning Office. Courts may not be held, reserved or in any way blocked for use of onsite players without written permission from the Township.


Medina County Sanitary Sewer Map

The Medina County Sanitary Engineers maintain approximately 530 miles of sanitary sewers throughout the county. There are three Waste Water Treatment Plants which have the total average rated daily capacity of 19.5 million gallon per day while they are presently treating approximately 10.0 million gallon per day and serving approximately 35,000 homes and businesses.

The Medina County Sanitary Engineers have approximately 435 miles of water lines, 17 water storage tanks, 12 water pumping stations, and 3 water treatment plants that currently service approximately 14,000 customers. The majority of the water supplied by the County is obtained from the Avon Lake Water Treatment Plant via Rural Lorain County Water Authority.
